SAFAG have linked up with Kings College, London who have fitted some trial monitoring equipment for use on one of our natural flood management retention ponds in the Knee Brook catchment. The solar powered station monitors pond depth hourly, localised soil moisture, air temperature etc. The monitoring station sends the data to the Web, where authorised users have access to monitor the results. This will be very useful for the Flood Group to support its monitoring programme.
